How We Trade
Commerce is not separate from conscience.
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was a merchant before he was a prophet. He was
known as Al-Amin — the Trustworthy — in the marketplace of Makkah, years before the first
revelation. That reputation was his brand. That character was his offer. That consistency was his
distribution strategy.
RUH RUG is built on that inheritance.
These are not policies. They are commitments — to every person who enquires, considers, or
buys.
We Will Not Create False Urgency
We will never tell you that stock is running out when it is not. We will never manufacture
pressure to make you decide faster than you need to.
“O you who have believed, do not consume one another’s wealth unjustly but only in lawful
business by mutual consent”. — Quran 4:29Your decision belongs to you. We will give you what you need to make it clearly.
We Will Not Conceal What You Need to Know
If a rug has a variation, we will tell you. If a timeline is uncertain, we will say so. If something
about this product is not right for your project, we will say that too — even if it costs us the
sale.
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him said: “The two parties in a business transaction have the right to annul it so long as they have not separated; and if they speak the truth and make everything
clear, they will be blessed in their transaction. But if they tell a lie and conceal anything, the
blessing of their transaction will be blotted out.” — Sahih al-Bukhari 2110, Sahih Muslim 1532
We Will Not Manipulate
No false scarcity. No engineered emotion. No persuasion that bypasses your reason. RUH
RUG will show you what is true — the material, the process, the origin, the timeline. What
you do with that truth is your own affair.
“Woe to those who give less than due — who, when they take a measure from people, take in
full. But when they give by measure or by weight to others, they give less.” — Quran 83:1-3
We Will Price Honestly
We do not inflate prices to create room for theatrical discounts. There are no seasonal sales
at RUH RUG. What a rug costs reflects what it took to make it — the hands, the time, the
material, the forty years of craft knowledge behind it.
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him said: “The honest, trustworthy merchant will be with the prophets,
the truthful, and the martyrs.” — Sunan al-Tirmidhi 1209
We Will Honour the Artisan
Every price you pay carries within it the fair wage of the person who made your rug. We do
not squeeze the maker to widen our margin. The artisan’s sustenance is not a cost to be
minimised — it is the first obligation of this trade.
“Give the worker his wage before his sweat dries.”— Ibn Majah 2443
We Will Think in Decades, Not Transactions
We are not here to sell you one rug and disappear. A RUH RUG is made to last a lifetime.
Our relationship with you is built on the same foundation. If your rug needs repair ten years
from now, we will be here. If your project requires a size we have never made, we will sit
with you until we understand it.
“The most beloved of deeds to Allah are those that are most consistent, even if they are
small.”— Sahih al-Bukhari 6464
We Will Treat You With Dignity
Whether your order is one rug or one hundred — you will receive the same honesty, the
same care, the same response time. There are no tiers of respect at RUH RUG.
“None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.” — Sahih
al-Bukhari 13, Sahih Muslim 45
These seven commitments are not aspirations. They are the ground we stand on.
If we ever fall short — tell us. We will listen.
